With World Malala Day being celebrated on 12 July,the
rotaractors from the Rotaract Club Of NM College
interviewed the MDIO,Rtr. Rajesh Subramanian .Here's what
he had to say:
The only tool for change is Education!!
Education is the fundamental rights for every Human being!!
Then why stop education for the Girl Child when they can be
the actual solution for it.
When asked further about his vision regarding the education
in his Rotary year 16-17 , he said that the solution to every
problem can be addressed by Education. Hence, their Area
of Focus for the Rotary 2016-17 will be around
Literacy. Being an information passing organization,The
vision for this year is to create a great awareness on literacy
within South Asia countries and motivate every district,
rotaract clubs and Rotaractors to contribute for Happy
School,Back to School and Wash in School initiatives.They
will have a special focus on Girls education as the number of
dropouts of girls are more as compared to boys.
So lets make a pledge to educate a student which is equal to
empowering one.💪🏻
